Project "Black On Black"

So, I decided to paint my rims satin black today after seeing the successful results of Jally's rims. I have always wanted black on black but lacked some motivation.

Before embarking on this project, I did a mock up in Photo Impact. Here it is compared to the original colour:

The concept looked alright, so here we go with the real thing. First off, wash and sand the wheels. Then prime.

Three coats of satin black paint later, we end up with...

Then slam them back on the car.
