Drag Racing

My first time at the drags in Heathcote with the Gorilla was very fun.

My best time for the day was 15.1 secs @ 99 MPH. I'm looking forward to getting into the 14 second region next time.

EXE Track Day - Winton Raceway

I attended my first ever track day not really know what to expect of myself or my car.

My practice session was filled with excitement and fear as I struggled to learn the track and how to control my car at speed around corners. I came out of the practice session with frayed nerves and was completely on edge. My initial reaction was that track days are not for me.

Once I had calmed down, I regained my composure and decided to face my fears and head into the first session. Before going in, I also got some advice from Silas about what gears to be in for each corner. This time around, it was actually fun! I had memorised the track and knew what gear to be in, so all I had to do was drive and didn't need to fight my fear of the unknown.

At the end of the day, I achieved a personal best time of 1:49.843.

Everything stock except for 17" Nismo LMGT4 with 225/45/17 Bridgestone RE55S.
